Mission Endowment Fund Grant Awards for 2020

The Mission Endowment Fund of Christ the King Lutheran Church received 14 grant applications from around the corner and around the world.  The Board is happy to announce the grantees for 2020.

Sunday, March 8^th – Daylight Savings Time BEGINS at 2am – “spring forward” 1 hour

prior to bedtime on Saturday, March 7^th. 

Wednesday, March 11th — Ecumenical Lenten Worship & Soup Supper at 6:00pm hosted by Summit Church (previously known as First United Methodist Church), 2917 Aspen Drive, Durango

Wednesday, March 18th — NO Ecumenical Lenten Worship & Soup Supper today

Sunday, March 22nd  — CtK will welcome Patterson Yazzie, the Director of the Navajo Evangelical Lutheran Mission located in Rock Point, Arizona

Wednesday, March 25th — Ecumenical Lenten Worship & Soup Supper at 6:00pm hosted by Christ the King Lutheran Church, 495 Florida Road, Durango

Sunday, April 5^th – Palm Sunday Worship at 8am with music led by Joyful Noise; 10:30am worship with music led by CtK’s Chancel Choir.

Thursday, April 9^th – Maundy Thursday service at CtK at 6:00pm with traditional foot washing (optional); music led by CtK’s Chancel Choir.

Friday, April 10^th – Good Friday service at CtK at 6:00pm with music led by Joyful Noise.

Saturday, April 11^th – Easter Eve Dinner & Worship beginning at 5:00pm; reservations required, go to:

Sunday, May 17th — Congregational Semi-annual Meeting & Potluck luncheon; NOTE:  ONLY ONE WORSHIP at 9:30am THIS DAY.  Worship music will be led by CtK’s Joyful Noise.

Sunday, May 31st — Pentecost Sunday.  Remember to wear RED!
