2 Corinthians 4:1-6 “Therefore, since it is by God’s mercy that we are engaged in this ministry, we do not lose heart.”
John 14:8-14 “I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If in my name you ask me for anything, I will do it.”
Almighty God, you gave to your apostles Philip and James grace and strentgh to bear witness to your Son. Grant that we, remembering their victory of faith, may glorify in life and death the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
