CtK Women’s Group next monthly meeting is on Saturday, August 3rd
Regular monthly meetings provide an opportunity to enjoy fellowship and support with and from our sisters and friends at CtK. However, we will NOT meet on July 6th because of the July 4th Holiday weekend. But please plan to join us at our next meeting on Saturday morning August 3rd at 9 AM for food, fellowship and devotions. In addition to our monthly meetings, the women’s group offers a variety of fellowship opportunities throughout each month such as Saturday outdoor expeditions/hikes and Friday night “Girl’s Night Out.” For more information on these activities and others, text Monie Schlarb at 970-764-0226.
Currently, the Women’s Group is sponsoring a collection of Hygiene Kit Bags for the Navajo Evangelical Lutheran Mission in Rock Point, AZ. This endeavor is to help support many of the children to whom NELM ministers at their K-6 school. Most of these children do not have running water or electricity at their homes so they take showers at the school. At this time, we are delighted to let you know that all the hygiene kit bags have been taken. Please remember to bring the completed kits back to church by July 21st, and we’ll see that they are taken to NELM in Rock Point, AZ. If anyone would still like to help NELM, you may contribute monetarily by writing a check to CtK with NELM written on the memo line. We can use these donations to purchase socks, underwear, and PJ’s for the children as suggested by Pastor Kae, NELM’s Director. Thank you for you for your generosity! The CtK Women’s Group.
