Sunday School (and a whole lot more) for children pre-K through third grade.
[Jesus] called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

We meet every Sunday at 9:15am in the Worship Area. From 9:15am-9:45am, all ages sing together to the glory of God. We learn proper singing technique (breathe with your diaphragm!) and work to memorize traditional and contemporary hymns and songs. We also learn how these songs “fit” with the lectionary. We sing about once a month at the beginning of the 10:30am worship service, and we present two pageants each year.
From 9:45am-10:15am, the children divide into individual classrooms by age. We use the Augsburg Fortress Spark™ Bibles (each child is given one of their own of their very own) and the Holy Moly™ curriculum. Videos and readings teach the children about Bible stories, and the children complete various activities and/or crafts to increase their understanding of the material.

**A special congregational meeting has been called for May 12. We are still doing the pageant that same day, at the 10 AM combined service. Please have your kids at CtK no later than 9:30 so they can get into costume. Email Mandy with questions. Thank you!
