Week of October 31 Preschool Lesson Plan
Preschoolers enjoy a large classroom with a variety of developmental centers, including:

We have a large playground outside as well. Some of our outside activities include:

Special activities:

chapel time 10:00-10:30 AM every Tuesday
-
music/movement program twice weekly
-
Parents provide:
-
-
suitable changes of clothes (underwear, socks, and pull-up, if needed)
-
blanket and pillow for rest time
-
Children’s World provides:
-
-
a cot for your child to rest on during quiet time
-
a cubby for your child’s belongings, artwork, etc.
-
a great curriculum designed to prepare your child for the leap into elementary school!

Preschool Daily Schedule
7:30–8:15: Arrival, put away coats, wash hands, sign in, first planned activity
8:15–8:30 Clean up, first circle time, transition to breakfast, hand washing
8:30–9:00 Breakfast
9:00–9:20 Teeth brushing and bathroom breaks
9:20–9:35 Second circle time, calendar, weather chart, Bible story (show and tell on Fridays)
9:35-10:30 Center time and second planned activity
10:30-10:40 Clean up, get ready for outside (apply sunscreen, dress for inclement weather)
10:40-11:15 Outside recess
11:20-11:30 Circle for coming-in time, transition to wash hands for lunch
11:30-12:00 Pass food, prayer, lunch
12:00-12:30 Dismissal from table, cleanup, quiet book time, bathroom breaks before rest time
12:30-2:30 Rest/quiet time
2:30-3:00 Get up, bathroom breaks, individual quiet book reading time
3:00-3:30 Snack
3:30-3:50 Sunscreen second application, bathroom break if needed, quick circle
3:50-4:00 Dress in appropriate attire for outside
4:00-5:00 Second outside recess, weather permitting (may be extended in summer to 5:30)
